🚤 Trancension on the Bay: Neon Edition Lit Up the Water
On Saturday, May 31, we boarded The Ohana for a sold-out boat party filled with vibrant energy, stunning beats, and a sea of neon. Over 100 trance-lovers joined us for an afternoon of music, movement, and memories. With two decks and six incredible DJs, it was nothing short of legendary.

🔊 TORQUE Launched a New Era of Monthly Underground Vibes
The next day, we launched TORQUE, a new monthly event built around raw grooves, heavy rhythm, and community-first vibes. Inspired by early 2000s rave culture, TORQUE strips away the fluff and brings it back to what matters—music, energy, and connection.
Held at 1060 Garnet (formerly PB Avenue), our kickoff featured Em Yujin, Ohhjay, Komodo, and Nico Hartt throwing down sets that took us on a journey. With about 100+ dancers in the club on a Sunday (wow!), the debut was everything we hoped for—and then some.
🎧 RISE Bid Farewell to AC Lounge
We had a bittersweet milestone on Thursday, June 19 as we hosted our last RISE at AC Lounge in North Park. This monthly gathering has been a cornerstone of our community, giving local artists a platform and trance fans a home base to connect.
For our last dance in this space, we opened up the decks for local DJs who showed us what trance meant to them. Then, we closed it out with sets from L.T.D. and Underface.
🚀 RISE Leveled Up at SPIN Nightclub
One of our biggest moves this summer: RISE has a new home. After years of unforgettable nights at AC Lounge, our monthly trance gathering officially made the leap to Spin Nightclub on Thursday, July 3.
This upgrade means more room to dance, next-level production, and a new chapter for the Trancension family. July’s edition featured a full-spectrum journey through trance—from uplifting to tech, psy to hard—with a stacked lineup including Deep Thought, Luna, Escalation, and Nico Hartt.

Up next, we’re joining forces with Camp Shenanigans & Agains & Agains, Conscious Cali, for Lumi Cali on Saturday, July 12, a day-to-night trance gathering at scenic Mission Bay. Expect classic trance, vibrant energy, and sets from Trancension resident artists Nico Hartt, Komodo, Underface, and Kailey Grace alongside a stacked lineup.
Then we’re back with our next TORQUE session on Sunday, August 1—a monthly ritual focused on heavy grooves, underground energy, and expressive freedom. Just a few days later, RISE returns to Spin Nightclub on Thursday, August 7, bringing you another night of high-octane trance and community vibes in our new home base.
